Trendy Jumpsuit turned Buisness

As many of you know by now I love me some dresses but I also have fondness for jumpsuits. I have such a hard time finding jumpsuits that work on this pear shaped body. If they fit up top they are to small on the bottom.. the struggle is real. So if I find one that works it's hard for me to pass it up. I was lucky enough to stumble across this one at Windsor Stores last year for $7. The chevron stripes just make this so on trend. I have worn this before on a night out. I decided to make this work appropriate by adding my peplum blazer, jewelry and my wedge Sandal's. I love that this piece is so versatile. Have any of you ladies found a love for jumpsuits. How are you styling them? Please dish

Healthy Snacks and Fashion Finds

Monday had arrived once again! Doesn't it seem like the week just moves by at snails pace and the weekend is just flashes by soooo fast. Well I decided this morning I was going to hop out of bed and try and make this the most productive week ever.

I weighed in this Saturday and I was exactly the same as I was about 4 weeks ago. I am ok with that because last Monday is day I started to track and get my exercise back on track. The weeks prior to that I had basically been eating what I wanted and getting limited exercise in. I had been working crazy hours and they were catering all kind of delicious food that was not so good for you. So me staying the same.. I'm okay with that for now. So last week was a little bit of a struggle . My honey's birthday was Wednesday and of course we go out to dinner . I did fall off the wagon but I got right back on it the next day. Life happens and you have to know how to climb back on that wagon. I wanted to fill you in on the some of the healthy treats I found that help me when I get that sweet craving. Oh I get those quite often .

Fiber One 90 Calorie Bar- Cinnamon Coffee Cake
This is soft and delicious! It is perfect with a cup of coffee in the morning and only 2 WW points!

Dole Dippers- Dark Choc Banana Dippers
If you love dark choc like I do this is the perfect treat and only 100 calories and 2 WW points!

Fruttare- Strawberry Juice Bar
If you are a Strawberry lover this is definitely your dessert. This taste like real strawberries!
Only 60 calories and 2 WW points

Now a post would not be a post without some fashion finds! I had been looking for a comfy pair of shoes that I could kick around on the weekend. I wanted some simple gym shoes with a little jazz to them and that's exactly what this Arizona shoes . They are a muted gold that will look so cute with capri pants, shorts and even a little dress as pictured below. They also come in hot pink

My 2nd fashionable find comes from Jcpenney also that would be this super cute Bisou Bisou peplum top. I just love the vibrate pink color and the texture of the fabric is so stylish. This light weight material is perfect for the spring and summer weather . I think I will have to invest in the orange as well.

Have a awesome week people! Let's speak it into existence!

Tulle Skirt 2 Ways part 2

Happy Sunday everyone. I just love the tranquil feeling that Sunday brings on. I think its the calm before the storm called Monday. As promised in my previous post this is look #2 with my tulle skirt. There are so many styling options with this skirt and it only being $15 makes it even sweeter.   I decided to go stripe crazy with this look. The top is Joe Fresh from Jcpenny. I got this top for $5 bucks on clearance.  I am such a sucker for black white stripes. I thought the striped Betsy Johnson purse added a little sass to this look. Than to top the look off I added my Simply Vera little snakeskin pumps for a little pattern mixing . What do you think? Which look do you like better?

Lauren Conrad Love

If you have been following me on my blog you know how much I love me some Kohl's. It would be safe to say that
that that the Lauren Conrad line would have to be my favorite hands down. That was obvious to me when I realized both my dresses from the past few days have been from her line. I love everything from dresses to the shoes. The only grip I have is sometimes the dresses are a little short for my 41 year old taste. But I recently ordered a skirt extender so I am hoping I won't have those issues much longer. What are your favorite brands at Kohl's and why ? I would love to hear from you.
Enjoy your Friday Fashionista's!

My no Clothes Post

Now as many of you know I am usually posting about my clothing finds but today I am chirping about something different. While focusing on so many other things in my life I have really been slacking on being healthy. Instead of planning my meals and tracking . I have been just going with the flow and basically just eating what I want . Now that I have moved and work has slowed down I have no excuse . So I decided to to get back on track starting today. Now I am not going to be one of  those people that post a picture of everything I eat but I will share some of my food finds and maybe even talk about a great workout I discovered. So Monday will be my day to share my highs and lows of the week and also share any little tips and tricks that I stumble across. I would love anyone to comment with anything that they have found helpful. We are just woman that want to be our best version of ourselves. I am not trying to be a super model.. I just want to be the best Curlybyrdie I can.

So on my first Monday of sharing healthy tips. I wanted to share a tasty item I just found this weekend. I was in the grocery stocking up on my "heathly food" I found this Jimmy Dean Chorizo Chicken Sausage. OMG this stuff is amazing. I love Chorizo and this sausage gives you the right amount of kick and 3 links are only 120 cal and for all you Weight Watchers .. only 3pts. I had mine with egg whites Sargento Thin Pepper Jack Cheese and Kroger brand Slimwich bun . This was a tasty breakfast for only 6pts ( only used 2 links) .  This was sandwich was delicious and satisfying.

Bows and Lace

What a beautiful Easter weekend. It was a awesome way to honor Jesus rising from the dead. I was able to come together with some pretty wonderful people for an Easter celebration.
I decided to go with a lace Maxi dress that I scored from Kohl's. I added my bow necklace and bracelet because what says Easter Sunday better than bows and lace? I love ultra feminine look and it really took me back to my childhood. How was your holiday weekend? What were your fashion choices?

Easter Basket A' la Mode

As I promised in my previous post I would feature 2 other looks that I scored from one of my favorite stores  Clothes Mentor Ft Wayne. Ladies if you are in search for a dress for Easter on Sunday or even thinking ahead to Mothers Day next month . This is the place to get a super cute dress for a fraction on the cost. Super cute and a great deal sounds like a win win to me!

My first look is this Midi skirt that I wasn't sure about but once I tried it on I was convinced that I needed this piece in my closet. This skirt was from "The Loft " and the material is so fabulous it just swings when you walk and I decided to not go with a white or cream button up . I wanted to go bright showing my Easter spirit. This bright little yellow top is so cute and it was $3.50 . I can see me using this little top over and over again over the spring and the summer! I added my Lauren Conrad wedge sandals that I got from Clothes Mentor awhile ago for $10 and my look was born... Now ladies for this look the total was $26 . I like those numbers !

The 2nd look is this cute green floral dress. This dress still had the Steinmart tags on it and it was only $14 . I love the garden look of this dress it looks very romantical.. Yea that's a word  in my vocabulary. I teamed this burst of flowers with these off white Sandals that I got on clearance from DSW for $14. I can see me getting alot of wear out of these.

This is just a fraction of the cuteness that they have in the Clothes Mentor Fort Wayne right now. You should definitely stop by and see all the goodies they have and you just may see me in there also :) Don't forget to show this blog post or any of the previous posts that feature items from Clothes Mentor and you can get double punches any day of the week...and why not bring in some treasures you are no longer loving to get some cash on the spot. Back with my $3 find

I have been on a blogging hiatus. My plate has seriously been full with work demands and moving! As you can imagine I have been a grumpy girl. Well I am back and ready to talk great deals! I scored this cute little dress on trip to Tar jay aka Target on the clearance rack for $3! It didnt look like much on the hanger but when I tried it on I was pleasantly surprised. I always say you must try on to get the full picture. I teamed this up with my super cute Simply Vera sandles that were also a great deal but would you expect anything less from me?
I also wanted to share this picture my favorite artist aka my daughter drew for my blog. I love this girl such a talent and a big heart. Have you ever watched that show The Gilmore girls? That mother daughter relationship reminds me so much of our relationship.  She keeps me in line. I am a very proud Mama!

Girl with Pearls

I really feel like I have been on a blogger vacation. I have been so busy with work and moving that I have little time for my passion for fashion and that makes me sad. With me moving it has really forced me to go through my wardrobe and face reality.  I have way to many clothes..I have gone through the process of elimination.  Which is not fun but so necessary.
My look was a light weight American Eagle sweater dress that I scored for $17 at Marshalls. Now I have to tell you that I have really been sleeping on TJ Maxx and Marshalls. They are filled with the cutest things. I literally could have walked out of there with at least10 items that I loved ...not liked but loved. I will definitely keep them in my shopping rotation.  Where are your favorite places to shop? Who has the best deals?
