2015 Fashion Recap

I can definitely say that 2015 has been my most fashionable! This has been the year that I got a little bolder with my choices and was able live outside that box. Isn't that was fashion is supposed to be a way to express your creativity and share individual style?  My motto for this year has been embrace what makes you feel like you!  After all there is no one that is better at being you!

Let's gets started with some of my favorite looks from 2015

This was a year of some very pretty dresses

Red Dress - This dress was the perfect holiday dress and the whole Marilyn moment made me feel vibrant and sexy

Navy Dress-  This sleek navy dress was just a classic dress with a sultry fit and I added my favorite J-LO pumps to the mix to make it pop just a little

Floral Dress - This was a dress that I stalked for months . This Eliza J beauty had me feeling like a movie star and how perfect that the Limo drove by at the perfect moment in the backround.

Colorful A-Line- This colorful cute dress was one of the dresses from NYC Jcpenney photo shoot so it has a special place in my heart. Colorful , fun and flirty and spring ready

There were some pretty fabulous skirts in 2015

Tulle Skirt - this perfect tulle skirt from the Lauren Conrad runway collection had you feeling like a real life princess and adding a vibrant button down made the look fun and exciting .

Polka Dot Skirt - This colorful polka dot from Jcpenney also caught my immediate attention the very first time I saw it . I added a white button down that make it office chic and fun at the same time.

White Lace - This classic white skirt from Ann Taylor is gorgeous this is a skirt that I will wear for years to come and I added this navy pattern top and patent leather pumps for a feminine classy look.

Floral Midi - This beyond beautiful skirt by Trina Turk was my first trunk show purchase ever during my very first trip to NYC .. how special is that .. and their was a pretty handsome security guard working in there that day..so a pretty awesome day .  I wore this to my son's baptism so that makes this skirt pretty epic in my eyes

Jumpsuits were a Must have

Khaki - this khaki jumpsuit was casually cute an empty pallet that I could add whatever I wanted to and in this case it was animal print.

Blue Floral -  this floral pattern is just beautiful and that is what attracted me to this number but that flattering fit is what sold me a truly a item you can take from season to season.

Hunter Green- I am so obsessed with the color of this J-LO jumpsuit from Kohl's . I added my favorite shoes which happen to be J-LO as well which I thought was a perfect combo.

Lace Look - This Material Girl jumpsuit from Macys' is perfect night out on the town look while still looking classy . I just love the bustier  top add a little sexy

This Girl Went Bo-Ho

Duster - The color combo and the relaxed vibe of this duster had me intrigued and with it being lie $12 at Target it was a trend that I was willing to try

Floral Dress - This floral dress was the perfect dress for my couch session in the middle of a field I loved everything about this dress including the pockets .  This dress makes you feel all romantical and purdy .. LoL

Bo-Ho to the Maxi-  one of my favorite just throw on dress that looks perfect for anything. Change up the shoes and accessories and the possibilities are endless .

Faux Leather - This skirt is really showing my native American roots. I love the color and the added fringe booties make me feel so young and on trend... and I love it !

 This Girl is Trendy

Faux Suede Vest - this vest can make almost any outfit look fabulous . The sleeveless coat trend was one that I am loving . I felt so fashionable with this combination .

Faux Leather Shirt - I loved the skirt so much  I had to get the top and wore my J_LO skinny jeans and ethnic statement necklace to keep it exciting .

Screen Tee- I just love screen tees they are so versatile and fun especially when I wearing something I feel strongly about . I loved the plaid skirt and hat it says confident and fashion forward .

Over the Knee Boots - Every girl needs at least one pair of fabulous OTK boots and the color and style where exactly what I needed to spice up my wardrobe.

 Every Girl has a Favorite

If I had to pick a favorite look for 2015 it would definitely be the looks featuring my Stylenspire  skirt . I loved everything about this skirt so much so that I had to style in 3 different ways. I love that this is hand made and you the quality was undeniable .

Did you have a favorite for 2015 ? I would love to hear about it !

Sassy In Just Fab

This blogging journey has really been incredible this past year but I also have to think about those early  posts and when I go back an look at them  I can definitely see the difference .   I can remember searching web to find similar bloggers who's style that I could totally relate to.. that shopped on budget just like me .. and than I found Berty at  Mad For Fashion For Less and we been #FashionistaSisters  ever since.  Not only is her style on point but her warm , encouraging personality is just as beautiful as her exterior.  So when Berty invited me to join Just Fab I immediately excepted and was introduced to the fabulous Darnette . I will be honest at first I was like should this 40 something Mama of 2 be wearing these boots?  I am so glad I didn't listen to that little voice called " self doubt " and decided to embrace my inner Beyoncé and it let me tell you I felt a Queen B in these beauties .

If you are looking for fierce shoes at affordable pricing you should definitely check out Just Fab here and get your first shoes for $10 .. yep you heard me right !

My Jcpenney Favorites

Even though I am regular up in Jcpenney it's been a while since I have created a list of my current favorites and believe me it was hard to narrow it down because the selection in there is plentiful and there are some pretty awesome deals going on right now.

Worthington Jacket - here - I am borderline obsessed with this jacket . Now I did not purchase the pants but the Jacket would be perfect with jeans, a LBD , with black flared pants and I seriously could go on and on . This jacket will surely be in my  regular rotation.

Worthington Jumpsuit- here- this jumpsuit is so vibrant and on trend and it comes in plus size and tall . This would take you from the holiday season to night out of the town in the summer . Just add some gold statement jewelry and some cute shoes and you are out the door and fabulous!

Bisou Bisou Metallic -  here   - I just love wearing metallic clothing it just screams holiday and this 2 piece outfit looks chic and I love that you can mix and match this with different pieces to achieve additional looks

Olsonboye Top - hereI simply adore this top I think it gives you that 80's feel but more modern it would look perfect with some jeans or leggings.

Worthington Vest - here - a long vest is a great go to piece in your wardrobe . You can add this to plain dress to give it some added style or opt for a more casual look by wearing it with jeans or leggings eiher way you will look put together

Ronson Sweater Dress- here - this is not your same old boring sweater dress this one has personality!  I love the animal print and stripe combo because I am all about that mixed pattern life. This would also be very cute with the vest above.

Nicole Miller Crossbody -here - I know crossbody bags are all the rage. I am a big bag girl probably because I have a lot of junk to carry around and aren't big bags supposed to make your behind look smaller? LOL . This cute lil bag has me wanting to change my ways... big behind and all!

Well these are my favorite Jcpenney's finds today.. and seriously that may change tomorrow because they are constantly adding the cuteness . Which one was your favorite ?

Thanks for stopping by !

Like seriously when this jacket caught my eye I was like...this is a Christmas Miracle on 34th street moment!  This jacket is fabulous perfection  and for $28 at my local Clothes Mentor I just knew this was going to be this fashionista's Christmas coat.  The shape and style reminded me so much of Carrie Bradshaw . When I put this coat on I wanted to head over to local martini bar and order me a Cosmo  ...  Darling LOL!

I thought this would be the perfect additional to my holiday wardrobe . Faux Suede Vest - Oh yes!!

I have really  developed a fascination for vests this year and when I saw this faux suede baby  at +Kohl's when I was black Friday shopping online at awesome price point I  just couldn't help myself and they were giving away $15 Kohl's cash with every $50 you spend.. oh Lawd the pressure... so I simply had to add it cart ! I totally wanted to style this with dark hunter green just a perfect color combo as far as I am concerned.  This look makes me feel so chic with little effort and I am all about that life.

How are you liking this trend ? I think it is one that I will be rocking quit a bit these upcoming months . I may have to give the black one in to my home as well.. LOL  O

Holiday Look- Every girl needs a Tulle Skirt

Nothing says princess to me like a tulle skirt.   I knew when I saw the Lauren  Conrad Runway collection I knew that I needed to add the tulle skirt to my collection.   This skirt with it's ombre design is pretty close to perfect . This skirt is a fantastic addition to a holiday wardrobe .  A lovely church look or a feminine holiday party look the possibilities or endless .   I decided to style mine with a bright button down and statement necklace . I did feel a little princess like so I decided to wrestle these curls down with a simple updo in traditional royalty style.  The perfect compliment to this look are the Lauren Conrad starburst earrings that were a gift from Kohl's . Now I am holiday ready!

I believe that a tulle skirt is a must in every women's wardrobe and why  not start with the holiday season. .

As always I want to thank for stopping by and I wanted to give you some options for I have attached a few different tulle skirt options below.
