Thinking about Transition

I am trying to get over the fact that we are already at the end of July!  Man time flies when you are having fun and now I am starting to look forward the cooler fall days and what that means for my wardrobe. I am such a fan of the darker jewel tones and I usually start my transition into my fall wardrobe starting in mid to late August. I start with the color selection gravitating towards shades of burgundy, green and all those deeper hues that I can layer as it gets cooler. This jumpsuit is perfect for that transition to the fall you can wear it now and as the weather gets cooler you can add jacket or sweater and take it to the office.

I already owned the black and white striped version of this jumpsuit and loved it but when I saw it now in Burgundy Oh Yasss!
I added this fabulous color block bag to break up the monochromatic look of this jumpsuit and it was on clearance makes it even better.
The great thing about a jumpsuit it' an easy outfit one and done a total look with minimal effort!

I absolutely love the open back element it adds a little bit of sexy to this look but keeping it tasteful

A perfect way to take this jumpsuit right into the fall is adding a jacket or vest to the equation like I did with this pop of Navy.

Well, ladies are you thinking about how you will transition your wardrobe into the fall weather?

Kimono Love

One of the trends that I am currently obsessing over it the Kimono.  A Kimono is a traditional Japanese garment that has been one of the hottest fashion trends in the past few years and I am here for it. I just love the easy breezy feel of kimonos and how they can take just a regular outfit to whole other level.  Being the busy women that I am I like pieces that just make it simple for this fashionista. The awesome thing is the there are some pretty affordable options out there so you don't have to break your bank to get in on this current style trend.

The gorgeous color pallet is what caught my eye and longer length I have other kimono's but I was looking more for the robe type that I had previously seen Beyonce and Rihanna wear. This was a similar option for a fraction of the cost!  However, my 16-year-old son asked why I am wearing a robe! I said because Beyonce did.. LOL
After reading the reviews online I decided to size down and I am so glad I did because this was very generous which for me usually that is the opposite when I order from Shein.

I decided to style this with a simple bodysuit and my cropped frayed jeans that I picked up a bargain of course but these jeans are something you definitely could DIY at home. Just check out youtube they have a video for everything :)

Let's talk about the shoes! I have been admiring these Marc Fisher shoes from afar they started at $100 and let me tell you this girl does not spend $100 on sandals so I waited and was able to score these for under $40 and they are not only cute but oh so comfy!
Are you loving the Kimono as much as I do? You can click the photos below to shop my outfit and also some other Kimono's that I am loving also I am quite sure you will find one you like :)

As always I want to thank you for stopping by it means so much!

Getting Flirty With it

Summer is the time of that a get a little more playful with my wardrobe selections. I think the warmer temps make  you feel a little freer. It is not secret that I am dress girl and the summer dress selection is so plentiful it's hard to limit myself. I know some of you ladies have shoe obsessions but this girl has a major love for dresses.  This time of year that light airy fabric and the gorgeous color pallets and patterns make it almost impossible not to notice.  I have to stop and ask myself how many dresses do I possibly need? Now that my dears is a very hard question to answer! LOL

Let's talk about some of my favorite flirty dresses that I currently own.

I am so in love with the Eva Mendes line at New York and Company this dress has a color pallet to die for not to mention the high -low effect that gives it a flirty feel perfect for a date night or lunch with girls. I added this gorgeous Leigh bag (here) from Just Fab and completed this look.

What is more flirty than a cold shoulder dress? I am so in love with muted floral print. It doesn't feel like overkill on the flowers it's the perfect combination of feminine and fun. The best thing about this dress is that I got it on clearance at Carson's for only $9 and would have totally paid more.

Love this easy breezy little number I actually wore this on the 4th of July for a cookout. Such a fan of the off the shoulder look.  I got a thing about showing my shoulders I think it universally flattering on every body type!  I love the shorter flirty length of this dress and light cotton material.

Do you have an obsession with summer dresses like I do?

You can click on photos below for details of details or similar options to dresses above and I have     also included other options I wouldn't mind adding to my closet.

As always I want to thank you for stopping it means so much to me!
