Fab 40's in Culottes

Well, it's that time of the month that I get to collaborate with the Fab 40's. A group of International bloggers that come together once a month and select a theme and then create our own interpretation of that theme and the fabulous Sheela chose CULLOTES.  Girl how did you know that I am all about that culotte life?.

I decided on a culotte style jumpsuit that is perfect for spring weather. I love the flowy and classic look of this jumpsuit and I added my favorite trench vest to the mix and this look was born.

I love pieces that I can style various ways and certainly, this vest and jumpsuit are versatile pieces that I can wear over and over again this spring and summer months.

I decided to add a pop of color with my pink mules and Christian Siriano floral bag that I absolutely love.  I am just now discovering how amazing this brand is and it's at Payless how sweet.

Mother's Day Fashion at Steinmart

There is nothing like the unconditional love of a mother.  I have felt it but also have had the pleasure of giving it.  I feel like Mother's day is the one day out of the year that we truly celebrate our Mothers or women who have mothered us. It is so important to take time out to acknowledge these amazing women.  I am a little sad about Mother's day this year because I will not get to celebrate it with my daughter with her being away at college for the summer but I look forward to the call.

On Mother's day, I think it so important for women to feel special and what makes a girl feel more beautiful than a new dress.  I love finding affordable dresses that still look amazing and there many gorgeous options at my local Steinmart.  I didn't realize the level of fabulous that Steinmart was working with!

I fell in love with this classic linen ruffle dress (here) the moment I laid eyes on it.  I love the striped with coral beige and blue just the perfect little summer dress for almost any occasion.

This dress was less than $40 after coupon which makes it an even better find. Because you know how I love a deal.  I love that you are able to find name brand fashion for less.

Now lucky for me I had the perfect sandals(sim) for this dress. These embroidered cuties that I scored from Kohl's last year had just been sitting my closet just waiting for a chance to make another appearance and today was the day!

I found the perfect way to finish off this look with this amazing Tahari coral bag (here)with a gold accent bow.  This bag retailed at $99 and I paid less than $40 for it!   One of my absolute favorite colors for the spring and summer is definitely coral and will use this bag so much these upcoming months.

How about you fashionista's have gotten your Mother's day outfit yet?  Will it be a dress
for you this year?  What fun things will you be doing on that special day?

This is just my first post featuring some of my favorite Mother's day options that are affordable. Stay tuned for more.

As always I want to thank you for stopping by it means so much to me!  Wishing you positive vibes for the week ahead!

Five Fab Fashionista's #ALLTOGETHERNOW

How exciting I am collaborating with my Fashionista friends once again and this time we are showing our love for the Gabrielle Union line from New York and Company.  It's funny the way we all connected was basically over our love for New York and Company and fashion.

When the beautiful Gabrielle Union released her latest line we knew that it would be fun to highlight these amazing pieces. I love that she has her co-stars from her show Being Mary Jane wearing her line for her #ALLTOGETHERNOW campaign. It just gives me feelings of sisterhood and empowerment and shows this line is for EVERY WOMAN.  This was really the inspiration behind this campaign and ladies this line is gorgeous.

When we decided that we were going to highlight our favorite Gabrielle piece I knew that I was going to select this little white dress. I saw Gabby wearing this before it was released in the stores and I had been stalking it ever since. I love the classic design with the added sexiness of it being off the shoulder.
I thought with a dress this fabulous that I need to add these rose gold boots because like I have said before Rose Gold just makes everything better. The amazing thing about this dress you can just style it so many different ways. I actually styled this with yellow accessories that I will be sharing in a future post so stay tuned :)
Quality pieces that I can get for a great price is my jam and this line does just that. Sometimes finding a white dress that you can't see through can be a challenge but this gorgeous dress does have a lining which makes it nice.

Spring Staple the Shirtdress

I love a shirt dress my dilemma is finding one that works well with my pear shape body.  So when I come across this super cute one from the Klab line at Kohl's this was one happy Fashionista. I love the classic stripes and the off the shoulder design which adds just a little sexy. I decided to less classic and add my favorite rose-gold booties to the mix! After all ladies, everything is better with some rose gold. LOL

I am really quite fond of the K-Lab line at Kohl's I feel as if it captures all of the latest trends while still keeping it affordable! I mean Kohl's and their 30% coupons are amaaazing!

As many of you know I live in Indiana and let me tell you the weather has been crazy. I mean no sandals and shorts in this place.  So instead baring these feet in some sandals I decided on the my favorite little booties. I get so many compliments on this booties so I always try and find an opportunity wear them. I sealed the deal with my Rose crossbody.

I love the versatility of this dress I could totally see me unbuttoning the bottom wearing it open with a pair of skinny jeans or adding a top underneath if you want a more conservative look.

I love fun and easy pieces that I can build on and this dress fits the bill. You can shop this look below and don't forget to check out the rest of the K-Lab at Kohls!

                                              Dress(here), Booties (sim), Purse (sim)

I want to thank you all for stopping it always mean so much to me. Stay warm and let's pray for sun because this girl needs some Vitamin D!

Denim Dream - Gabriel Union Style

I love a good jumpsuit they just say chic and stylish and not to mention it's so easy it's like one and done and I am all about making life more simple.  I am pear- shaped girl so honey the struggle can be real when trying to find that jumpsuit that will work on the bottom and the top.  When I saw this classy denim style jumpsuit from the Gabriel Union line at New York and Company I was crossing my fingers that it would work well on my body.   Lucky for me it was a Yass! What I love the most about her new line is that comes in plus and petite so it accommodates all body types!

When I saw the preview of the Gabriel Union a while ago I knew that this jumpsuit was going to be on my list when I saw Lisa Vidal from Being Mary Jane rocking it! It gives you classy feel but totally on trend and I am all about that life.

I absolutely love that Gabriel featured her co-stars on Being Mary Jane in this line. I mean one of my favorite shows and it really brings home the idea of this line being for every body type!

This jumpsuit can be styled so many ways by just changing up the accessories. I could keep it a little more casual by wearing a cute pair of sneaker or a wedge heel.

I decided to add my sandals from the Eva Mendes line and my beaded earrings and clutch for bring some color into the equation.  I feel like this would be a look that would be perfect for a night out with the \ girls or date night with your boo.

As  I said I was stalking this jumpsuit waiting for it to come out but there also another piece that I was anticipating. Can you guess which one that is? I will be posting it next week so stay tuned.

I love that various stores have this amazing celebrity lines so everyday women like myself can feel like we are rocking what the celebrities are at an affordable price.  I love that I see Gabriel Union in these streets wearing her line it tells me that these are pieces that she really likes!
