Serving Spring Looks with the Eva Mendes Collection

Heeeyyy! It's that time of the month that I get the pleasure of collaborating with my Fashionista friends the #fabfivefashionista's and talk about all things fashion! We are five women that have a real passion for expressing ourselves with our fashion and these ladies even though they live in other parts of this country I consider them my friends.

Well, we make it no secret that we love us some New York and Company that is honestly how we all probably found each other on Instagram LOL. So this month we decided to serve some Eva Mendes spring style and highlight some of our favorites.

The Eva Mendes line has so many fashionable pieces that are on trend with classic sophistication. I can guarantee there is something for everybody and it's always fun to see what the other ladies are loving and see how they bring their vision to life.

I decided to restyle this gorgeous Tallulah skirt from the Eva Mendes. I actually wore this in a previous collaboration which you can see (here)  I feel this is such a fabulous skirt it deserves to be featured more than once and not only is it gorgeous but very well made. It was love at first sight and the love affair continues.

This time I decided to style it with this off the shoulder top also from the Eva Collection adding just a little bit of sexiness to the look. I just love the sweater-like material that will be in constant rotation in my closet.

Lydia Chic Street Style Mom is looking gorgeous in this Delightful Daisy skirt from the Eva Collection and I absolutely love how she accessorized this with purple and shades of navy such an amazing combo and totally out the box. Lydia is giving us sexy sophistication!

Yolanda Curly Petite Renee looks so pretty in the Nadine gingham sheath dress in a violet hue. She styled this with a neutral colored bag and Jessica Simpson pumps. She looks absolutely stunning.

Ayesha Emanees Closet is bringing us more shades of purple in the lavender Brita Shirt dress and I am loving how she adds the shades of pink and purple to give this classic dress come fierce flair! Come through Ayesha!

Reyni Curls and High Heels is giving me life in this gorgeous crochet skirt and top from the Eva line. I love everything about this look from head to toe! Love how she finished this look with the rose gold sandals. You can tell by the photos that Reyni is loving this look as much as we do! You killed it, girl!

Don't they all look lovely? I love how we all found pieces in this collection that reflect our own personal style. Now that's a great collection!

Another fun collaboration with my Fashionista sisters! Stay tuned next month for another fun collab! Comment below if there is store or theme you would like to see us highlight!

As always I want to thank you for stopping by!

Fab 40's living in a Fairytale

Well, it's that time of the month that I get the opportunity to collaborate with the some of my favorite fashionistas's the #Fab40s a group of international bloggers that come together to create our own personal take of a particular theme. This month Suzy selected a Fairytale theme being the creative person she is.  I decided to go with Belle from Beauty and the Beast. This was one of my daughter's favorite movies and I can remember her singing all the songs so this post is inspired by Belle but also my daughter Jada :)

I just love gingham and when I saw this lovely gingham dress at New York and Company I knew that I I just had to have it. The bright yellow in the dress just says happy and cheerful and that is totally what I was going for in this look.

I decided to give it a fun twist with these fishnet stockings to give it a little extra and you guys know how I extra!

                                                              The Fab 40's

Jennie from A Pocketful of Polka Dots went with The Red shoe story which I must admit is one that I never read but honey this look has me wanting to definitely check this one out. I love everything about this dress especially this amazing dress! Looking, fabulous girl!

Sheela from Sheela Writes is giving me so much life with this look she is the evil Queen look from Snow White. I mean I don't remember the queen looking this fierce!  Sheela another month and again you wow me with gorgeousness and drama! Keep it coming beauty!

Suzy from Suzy Turner is the creative mind that came up with this theme she was going with a darker theme like an evil queen from so many of those fairytales but I think she looks quite chic. I am totally obsessed with the feather in hate. You look amazing and thank you for such a fun theme.

Anne from Kremb de la Kremb is always coming up with fun quirky ideas. Her look was based off a show  Tales of the Unexpected that was on in Britain back in the 70's. She even covered the detail of having those books in the back round.

Andrea from Living on Cloud Nine is our guest blogger and really captured Cinderella! I absolutely love this dress and the styling is amazing! I feel like a glass carriage is going to pull up at any moment.

Well there you have it another fun theme. We got the chance to get creative and in some cases take a look back to our childhood when we still believed in fairytales. Well I guess I still do :)

As always I want to thank you for stopping by it mean so much to me! Can't wait to see what June brings the #Fab40s ! Stay tuned :)

Eva Mendes Does it Again!

I make no secret of how much I love New York and Company and the Eva Mendez line.  I am a fan of the classic designs with added modern flair to keep this line on trend.  Whenever there is a new release I get excited like a little girl on Christmas.  Yes, ladies, there is a brand new release and it gorgeous!

Dress (here), Bag (here), Shoes (here)

This dress (the Becca ) is from the Eva collection it is from her previous spring release along with this fabulous belt. I love the classic shirtdress design but the asymmetrical bottom really gives it that modern twist and caught this girls attention.

The bright and vibrant colors are very eye catching and perfect for the spring and summer season. I love that I could style this with so many different colors.  In this instance, I decided to highlight the pink with my favorite pink pumps.

Just adding a denim jacket to the mix gives it a more casual vibe and a boho feel.

I was so excited when I saw that Eva had another new release just when I thought I didn't need one other piece in my closet Eva convinces me otherwise. Here are just a few of my very favorites.

Which are your favorites? I know so hard to narrow it down to one? At first, I thought for sure it was the jumpsuit but then I see that fabulous halter dress! Oh, the struggle is real but a great problem to have!  You can check out the complete Eva Line (here)

Ruffles and Stripes

Oh, beautiful days have finally arrived in Indiana! I was beginning to wonder if spring was completely going to bypass us this year.  Whenever the weather would be crazy my Grandmother always used to say " Yall ain't living right"  well I guess we haven't been this year! Lol

Now is the time that we can finally pull out those spring pieces and what better way to greet this gorgeous day but with ruffles and stripes. I love when I can match two pieces together and it looks like a complete dress and that is exactly what I did.  I purchased the skirt and then noticed that they had the matching shirt later on so back to New York and Company I went.

I fell in love with this amazing colorful skirt the first time I saw it. I mean it basically had me at "Hello". I love the bright colors and the light cotton material that makes it a cool option for the spring and summer months. I could totally see me rocking the skirt with a tank top for all types of summer festivities.

I decided to rock my Christian Siriano pumps (here)that I got from Payless shoes. I love the quality and price is amazing. I have purchased these pumps in three different colors that is how much I love them.

This basket purse is one that I been wanting after seeing everyone and their mama with it on Instagram I finally took the plunge when I spotted it on Amazon for $40.

This would be the perfect Mother's Day look perhaps to church and then to brunch or to a wedding or a graduation.  I love when you get to separates because the styling options are endless and can be used for many different occasions and it makes your closet seem even bigger!

Are you Fashionista's loving the ruffle and stripes as much as I am?  You can shop these items below the photos will take you directly to the items.

As always I want to thank you for stopping by it means so much to me! Wishing you all the beautiful weather you desire!
