Be Bold Wear Red

Red has been described as the single most dynamic and passionate color.  I just love the boldness of red it speaks as soon as you walk into the room. I can remember growing up my family almost discouraged me from wearing red they said it was too loud! Well, guess who is living out loud in this bold color? Yes, that would be me!

On one of my romantic strolls at Target, I spotted this gorgeous red dress from the Who What Wear collection.  I felt like this was the perfect shade of red for me and that is what immediately caught my attention.  At the time dresses were buy 1 get one 50 % off you can check out my  other pick (here)

This dress is a linen type material which is light and airy for the warmer months. I am still swooning over those ruffle sleeves and the aline cut is perfect for a pear-shaped girl like myself.

I wanted to add a little bit of sexiness so I went with the lace-up sandals in red of course.
I finished it off with my favorite bag of the summer this bamboo little cutie! My brother actually     called this a rat trap but obviously, he doesn't know fashion LOL

These photos were taking downtown Fort Wayne where I live and I absolutely love all the renovations that have been made. It gives me big city vibes without all the crowds.

My mom actually took these photos so was good seeing her express her artistic side. It was also a great day we ran into my bestie Matt! So it was actually a family affair!

I absolutely love the Who What Wear line at Target it is the very first thing I look at when I go to    Target or shop online. Such on-trend items that will not break the bank and you know I am all about that life.  You can   this complete look below and I included the plus size options also

As always I want to thank you for stopping by it really means so much to me and remember to be bold and wear red!  As the beautiful Audrey Hepburn says " There is a shade of red for every woman "

The Fab 40's in Graphic Tees

Hello, Lovelies! It's that time of the month that I get the opportunity to collaborate with the some of my favorite fashionistas the #Fab40s a group of international bloggers that come together to create our own personal take of a particular theme.  It was Jennie's turn to pick the theme of the month and I am so excited that selected graphic tees!  So many options for this basic item and I was very excited to see how these lovely ladies we going to style their tees!

I immediately started searching online for a graphic tee when I found out what the theme was. Now at first, I was on the search for a George Michael tee because in case you didn't know I am his biggest fan. I mean when I was 15,  I was for sure that he was going to be my husband but it wasn't to be.  LOL.

So instead of showcasing my love for my one and only I found this super cute shirt with " Honey" on the front that I found on Forever 21 for only $6!  The only thing that came to mind when I saw this tee was that Mariah Carey song " Honey " back in the 90's!

I chose to style it with this high-low ruffle skirt to stay true my feminine flair. This is also a Forever 21 find. I think it's so funny that this 21 x 2+3 lady is always finding such cute trendy items at this store. I think they should have a slogan " Not only your Daughters store". Just saying

                                                           Fab 40's

Jennie is speaking my language with this tee! Will work for shoes for sure. I love the chic and sophisticated look but then gives us some sexy vibes with the studded shoes and animal print accessories.  Thank you for such a great theme!

Ann always seems to make me so happy with her looks! She lives in Hong Kong and she makes it perfectly clear how she feels about it! I love how she expresses her love even more with the heart shaped glasses so fun quirky! Ann great look and you look great in shorts!

Sheela is always just giving me life with her looks and this month is no exception. First of all her tee  " Women Up" man so perfect everyone Women! Isn't that the code that we live by or at least aspire to! How many time have we had to "Women Up  " in our life? Now let's talk about this fabulous suit that I am totally obsessed with! I see you, Sheela!

Suzi is a girl after my own heart! She decided to pair her tee with a tulle skirt!  I love the tee "Let's Shine"!  No matter what is happening in our life let's make an effort to shine anyway! I love positive words that inspire me! Love this Suzy

Maria our guest blogger for the month had me at Hello with this shirt! I mean busy doing nothing isn't that the best kind of busy sometimes? We all need some days like that once in awhile. I love the comfy and casual approach to this theme! Thank you for being a part of this collaboration.

So there you have it! Another fun month for the Fab 40's I can't wait to see what July will bring us!

Hello Summer Dress Season

It's officially summer and for me, the season is all about fabulous dresses. I feel like dresses are my summer uniform.  They are just so easy to throw on and make you feel oh so fabulous without much effort and honey I am all about that life!

This amazing dress is from the Who What Wear line at Tar-Jay and it's usually the first line I look at when I am in a store or online.  This line is so on trend and has affordable pieces for Fashionistas like myself.

Now there are things I look for when I am selecting dresses for the summer. It seems like I always gravitate toward colorful pieces.  I am not sure if that is because it matches my personality or what? LOL but this dress with the vibrant orange seriously gave me all the feels. That is one of my favorite colors for the summer season.

The light cotton material is perfect for those hot summer days! I hate being hot and it gets so muggy in the Hoosier state that this girl has got to feel cool or at least cooler.

Now what sealed the deal for me was the high-low design. You get the all the benefits of a maxi dress yet this dress allows you to show off those cute shoes and if you are a petite gal than this dress is the perfect length.

I that this dress is flattering for all body types. I am self-conscious about my hips this dress almost makes me forget I have any! Now that is a dress with major superpowers!

I added my crochet bag also from the Who What Wear collection. Are you guys seeing a pattern here? I wasn't lying when I said I loved this brand!. Finished off with my Orange sandals that I forgot I had from last year and ever since I found them I have been wearing the heck out of them

The great thing is that Target is offering buy 1 get on 50% on their dresses this week so the perfect time to expand that dress collection.

So ladies are you also dressed obsessed for Summer? Where are your favorite places to shop for dresses and what do you look for? You can shop this look below!

As always I want to thank you for stopping by it means so much. Wishing you splendid summer season!

Sunshine State of Mind

Well, Hello Summer! It has been in the 90's the past few days. I feel like spring has officially left us and now here we are feeling those summer rays.  Yellow for me has been one of my goto colors for spring and will continue to be during the summer months.

There were two things that attracted me to this dress one being the bright and bold shade of yellow and then there are those polka dots. Yes, this girl loves he some dots!

Dress(here)  Shoes (sim) Earring(here) Bag (here)

I just love the retro and feminine vibes this dress is giving. This dress has me feeling like Sandra Dee from Grease. The light airy cotton material which is perfect for those hot summer days.

Isn't this the perfect wall for this Sunshine dress? It's located here in Fort Wayne at Wunderkammer Company an amazing space that is revitalizing the community through contemporary art.  It's such creative place that will keep you inspired.

I decided to accessorize with my orange lace-up sandals and tassel earrings. These are two of my favorite colors and together it just says sunshine.

If you are looking for a dress with some major twirl than this dress is definitely one that you need in your life.

This was my very first purchase from Venus and this dress has made a great first impression.  A high-quality piece dress is a high-quality piece better than I ever expected. I am quite sure this won't be the last time they hear from me. :)

I hope everyone is having a joyful June so far! So glad you stopped by it means so much to me!

Sunday Best Floral Skirt

Well, we are in mid-June already! Can you believe it? I know I can't I mean seriously where is 2018 going? We are now in the midst of wedding and graduation season!  So there seems like every weekend there is a reason for us to get all dressed up. (As if I need a reason).

The way that my life is set up it is a must that I have easy options that still allow me to look totally put together. This skirt is a piece that you can totally build upon. What I love about a skirt you have so many styling possibilities. You can totally change the look with few adjustments such as changing out the top and accessories.  Nothing I like more than getting more looks for less!

This floral Maddie skirt from the Eva Mendes line (here)/A classic quality skirt that will never go out of style. I am totally loving the embroidered floral design that would look adorable even with a denim top or graphic tee.  The cut of this skirt makes it a flattering piece for every body type.

With this look, I went for a dressier theme by adding another Eva piece this gorgeous Willa lace top (here) and instead of adding a basic necklace I decided to pick up the green in a skirt with this olive tassel necklace!  You know how I am about adding pops of color to the mix!

I went with keeping the shoes neutral with these gold sandals from none other than Tar-Jay from the A New Day collection. The great thing about these sandals is they also come in wide with so let me tell you, ladies, the wide width has made such a difference in this lady's life and the state of her feet! LOL

How about you Fashionista's ? What are your favorite go-to pieces that make you feel classy and put together with little effort?
