Kimono Obsession

The first step is admitting you have a problem and the truth is this girl has gotten an obsession with the Kimono. Now I am not sure what happen or what started this but looking back over the past year I am noticing a pattern and guys there is a definite fascination.

Kimono (sim)/ Cropped Jeans (sim)/Shoes (here)/Bag (here)

I recently found this gorgeous green kimono at my local Forever 21 for only $ 9. I love when they have an additional 50 % off sale it's the perfect time to get those on-trend items without denting that back account to bad. I decided to style this with my high waisted cropped jeans that I scored for $5 at my local HM and they are absolutely perfect. I wasn't sure how I would style the kimono but I am glad that I settled on this.

I love how versatile the Kimono or duster is there are so many styling options so I am sharing some of the looks I have created with this trend

This Kimono/ Swimsuit cover as it stated on the website is colorful and amazing because it is multi-functional it can be worn as a duster but also would work well as a dress as pictured below and also a swimsuit cover up!

When you are able to find fabulous item piece that you can style many ways you are creating a bigger wardrobe and more bang for your buck. This Orange Kimono that I found at my local JCPenney is gorgeous and vibrate the color combo is really caught my eye and then I thought about the styling possibilities it was a yes!

Making a statement is easy with a fabulous kimono like this extra long and oversize piece

Fab 40's in Cutouts

Hello, Lovelies! It's that time of the month that I get the opportunity to collaborate with the some of my favorite fashionistas the #Fab40s a group of international bloggers that come together to create our own personal take of a particular theme. This month it was lovely Ann's turn to select our theme and she took a casual approach with cutoffs! Now I immediately thought shorts and believe it or not I only have one pair of cut off jeans shorts but then trying to figure out how I was going to style them.

When Ann first revealed the theme I had all kinds of ideas I thought I would get creative and do some great DIY project but life happens and I decided to style the shorts I already had.

I decided to dress these casual shorts up with a great wrap top and these amazing earrings that I picked up from JCPenney that I am absolutely in love with.

The Fab 40's

Ann from Kremb De La Kremb selected this theme and she happens to be the DIY  Queen keeping it casual showcases her amazing legs. I love the how you make casual look so cute!

Sheela from Sheela Writes is giving me all kinds of life with this look.  Totally loving the sexiness of the shorts with the embroidery and split and adding the feminine ruffle and striped top to the mix. She looks amazing!

Jennie from A Pocketful of Polka Dots is giving us all kinds of boho vibes with the crochet vest and lace top. I love all the details with the added straw bad and boho style necklace. Such a great look Jennie!

Suzi from Suzy Turner like Jennie is giving her own version of boho style! The black fringe duster with the printed bag and I am totally crushing on those shoe's girl!

gr
Monika from Style is my Pudding is our guest blogger for July and she changed it up by styling a cut off denim skirt with a polka dot crop top. I love that her top looks amazing with her hair color and is giving us boho vibes with the fringe boots. Love your look Monika and thank you for being apart of the Fab 40's

Maximize the Maxi

Hello, there my Lovelies!  As we approach yet another week I am reminded of how quickly the summer is leaving us.  As I have said before just when I feel like I am finally getting my summer wardrobe together I need to start thinking about fall fashions! It's just hard to get past these cute summer dresses at amazing prices so I am thinking about how I am will take these dresses into the cooler months so that I can get as much wear as possible.

It's no secret how much I love everything colorful and I was instantly drawn to the maxi with tropical flavor! What's even more amazing it that this was actually under $10 in my local Forever 21.

The great thing about this time of the year there are so many great sales going on because stores are trying to get rid of that summer inventory and make room all that new fall flavor!

I decided to accessorize with colorful accessories like my orange sandals and a green statement necklace which made me love this dress even more.

I love denim jackets so much and have many of them so I really wasn't in the market for one but when I laid my eyes on this ruffled beauty I just knew it was one that I needed to add to my collection and at $25 how could I not.

You could also add a blazer or perhaps a duster that would make your summer maxi's to make them suitable for the fall.

Changing out the bamboo bag to maybe large leather bag and some booties could change the entire look of this dress.

It's always fun when you are able to maximize your wardrobe and allows you to be more creative. So when you are out checking out those great end of season deals perhaps there are ways that you can take those great deals into fall.

Please see below for details on this dress and some other options that will not break the bank.

Colorful Vibes - Mild Style

When I love I love hard and I am having a love affair with this fabulous skirt for the Eva Mendes line.  This is actually the second time I have styled in the past two weeks. The color combo has me at hello and the quality is amazing!

When you have a fab skirt you must find an amazing place to take photos so nowhere in Fort Wayne more fabulous than Wunderkammer Company    This nonprofit company that is revitalizing our community with art. So much creative beauty in one space!

When I decided to style this skirt for the second time I decided to go with a more casual approach with the denim wrap shirt.  I love casually feminine vibes this look is giving. I think every woman should have a few denim tops in her wardrobe. Can you believe this one only cost me $4.50?

Finishing off the look with these super cute ginger colored sandals and Libby Edelman straw styled bag that I scored this past weekend.

Can you believe this Artwork I mean I couldn't make up my mind on where I should take my photos and isn't that a great problem to have?

This is my very  favorite wall and you can check out this artist's work (here)

Details on this look at the bottom of this post!  You can check out my first look featuring this skirt (here)

As always I want to thank you stopping by it means so much to me! Wishing you a colorful week full positive vibes and lots of fun!

Jumping Into a New Week!

Hello, Lovelies!  Here we are again starting a brand new week I can' t believe in less than a month the kids will be heading back to school.  It seems just when I get my summer wardrobe together, the stores already have me thinking about fall fashion.

So when making purchases now I am thinking about pieces that I am able to transition into the Fall and this jumpsuit fits the bill.  I love olive green because it easily merges into the cooler months and the material is light enough to wear right now.

I am loving this pattern on the jumpsuit it's called the " Lucky Pattern " and believe me it was my lucky day when I scored this for under $20. It has little hints of lavender in it and would totally rock lavender accessories to change up the look.

With this look, I decided to add dark tan colored accessories which included these super cute sandals that I scored for under $15 and they are so cute and comfy which is a must in my book!

Yes, a little windblown in this photo but this really shows how light and airy this jumpsuit is and I am absolutely in love with it! This also come in black so this girl may have to add the black to the cart!

I  just love how easy jumpsuits are it's a complete look with minimal effort and as busy as this girl is I welcome anything that makes my day a little easier!

Finishing off this look with this gorgeous St.John bag that I scored at my local Goodwill for $7.50! Yass such a sweet deal and one of my favorite bags!

How about you ladies are you already starting to think about fall fashion? How will you transition your summer items into the fall?

You can shop this look below as well as some other cute options!

Thank you for stopping by it means so much to me! I hope you have a wonderful week!
