Holiday Statement

Hello, Lovelies!  We are under two weeks from Christmas and I still trying to get myself to feel more festive.  I have just been on the go for the last few weeks that I just can't seem to get it together I think it's partly because I feel like I am running on empty with all the excitement of the holidays.

It's the busiest time of the year for me but it's also the most fabulous. During the holiday' everything is just so extra! I mean extra rich food, extra eggnog, and the fashion is just so over the top and I love every single minute of it.

I love a holiday skirt that just does all the talking this gorgeous hi-low bubble skirt certainly is a conversation starter.  I instantly fell in love with it the moment I saw it online. I mean what's not to love it has all the trends that I am so loving right now.  It's high low, there is pattern mixing and it's a bubble skirt. What more can a girl ask for?

Do you remember when bubble skirts were the rage? I remember I was a freshman in high school and I had to have one and actually wore mine to our church Christmas service. It's funny I can remember that exact outfit from like 30 years ago but if you asked me what I had for lunch yesterday I have no idea. LOL.

I am such a girly girl and the movement of this skirt is just so amazing it makes me feel regal but gives me such a fun feeling when I wear it. At first, I thought this skirt is one that I would only wear one time and then back in the closet it goes but I could totally see me wearing this so many ways. Just adding a white button down and pumps will give it more of a refined look also a denim skirt and some red booties giving me a more casual sexy vibe.

I decided to style this with my hunter green velvet top and green booties to get me in a festive mood.

If this outfit doesn't get you into the holiday spirit than the decor at the Botanical Conservatory located here in Fort Wayne.  As a fashion blogger in the Midwest, it gets quite challenging to shoot photos outside in these crazy weather conditions so my photographer suggested this beautiful location so pretty and warm! LOL

I especially loved this little room that put me in mind of one of my Grandmothers homes such classic decor from back in the day. It reminded me of when I was a little girl

.

Holidays are the perfect time to push the boundaries and add some festive glam. A statement skirt is a great way to add glam and excitement to your holiday look.

What item do you wear to up your fashion game during the holiday season?

I want to thank you for stopping by it means so much to me.

Holiday Inspiration with the Fab Five Fashionista's

Hello, my lovelies!  We are now in full holiday mode right now at least I am and so are my four fashionista sisters so we decided that would be the theme for our current collaboration.  It is the time of year that I feel like I am almost always on the go and trying to figure out what I should be wearing all the holiday festivities.  What I love most about this collaboration is the variety of looks that we came up which makes it even more fun.

I decided to go all plaid everything because I make no secret of my obsession for this pattern and I just feel that red plaid particularly gets me super excited this time of the year.  This is the second time that I have styled this amazing top I mean I love it that much it just brings the drama. I knew the moment I saw it online that I had to have it and I also knew it was going to sell out and it did.

The first time I styled it with black ponte pants but when I saw the red pants online I just knew that I needed them in life.

This look is one that I would wear to just about any holiday event. I would rock this for a family gathering or even to a Christmas concert. The long top and fitted pants allow me to feel chic and in the fashion know without a lot of effort and during this time of the year I need something easy with minimal effort.

You know that I am all about shopping on the budget so when I spotted these leopard pumps at my local Goodwill for only $4.50 now it doesn't get much better than that except when you find and Express clutch for $2 from my local Gordmans.  I just love when I am able to score items that I actually love for such amazing prices.

Now let's check out how my fashionista's friends and see their holiday inspired looks!
