A Fall Must Have - Animal Print Skirt

Hello, my Fabulous friends! How is October treating you so far? Have you gotten that Autumn wardrobe keyed up and ready to go yet?  I know sometimes the struggle is real and you have to decide what is necessary and what is so not. It's easy to get caught up on the trends but I am trying to stick with more timeless pieces.

Now in case, you didn't know animal print is a neutral and here to stay. If you haven't invested in any animal print pieces a great place to start would be a skirt.  The amazing thing is there are so many gorgeous prints to choose from, no longer to you have to rely on leopard or cheetah you even more fabulous choices like snakeskin, tiger print, and zebra. I am a fan of them all, to be honest.

I can remember growing up when I thought about leopard I thought of Peg Bundy from Married with Children.  Thank goodness we have evolved ..LOL

I love how leopard has become a goto and so appropriate for any occasion. This look is one that would be perfect for the office. I styled this with a jacket that I got at the Goodwill for $2.25 and added one for my favorite belts on hand that created a great pattern mixing. Also, I need to talk about the suede-like pumps(here) if you have a wide foot than these come in wide width and they are so comfy!

I just love all the hues of earth tones in this look but could totally see me rocking this with some added colors. This skirt (here) was one I saw I just knew that I needed to add this to my fall wardrobe the print is so eye-catching.

You can really change the entire mood of this look by doing something simple like adding a fun jean jacket like this one with a fur collar.

Such endless possibilities and I here for them all.  I have linked some of my other favs below and some of them are well below $25. Check them out!

As always I want to thank you for stopping by it just means so much to me! Here's to another fabulous fall!

Fall Fashion 20th Anniversary Style - Target

Hello, my lovelies! It's fall y'all and it's my absolute favorite time for fashion!

Can I just tell you how excited I was when I found out about the 20th Anniversary at Target?  I mean I remember when many of these pieces were released back in the day I was so hyped that I would get a 2nd chance at them years later!

So when I found out that 3.1 Phillip Lim Line was going to be one of the designers featured I knew exactly what piece I would be stalking. It was this amazing dress. The funny thing is well not so funny thing is that that I owned this dress previously but it was in Med and this girl is now requiring a Large which I am not all happy about but that's a story that will require a whole separate post so watch out for it.

Now back to matter at hand this fall look.  Well, I was online the day this line released I was online trying to add this dress to my cart and it was sold out. I am like what ??? Noooo!  So I wasn't actually able to get if from Target but ended up scoring this on Poshmark and I paid a little bit more but I loved this dress so much that is was totally worth it.  You know I must have loved it because you know how this girl is about her deals.

That is one of the things I love about Poshmark, if you miss something there is a chance you can still score it on Poshmark.

I decided to style this with some Over the Knee Nine West Boots that I scored for $10 at my local Gordmans and I love everything about them. With this being a shorter dress and my legs aren't how they used to be I thought this would compliment this look.

I thought the shade of brown of these boots really popped with the dress and with the dress being shorter I thought it was the perfect distraction to that fact.  I can totally see myself rocking this dress with jeans or pants. It's too cute not to wear more than once.

Did you get a chance to shop for the 20th Anniversary line at Target?  If so did you get the pieces you wanted? Even though this particular dress is sold out I have linked some other cute options below!

Well, I wanted to thank you for stopping by it means so much to me! Wishing you another and amazing week.

Love at First Stripe

Hello, my lovely people!  Here we are a week away from entering my favorite month "October".
I mean it's Fall Yall and it's my birthday month! So I feel like a celebration is in order all month long! Let's start by celebrating this amazing maxi dress (here)

I fell in love with this gorgeous dress the moment I laid my eyes on it online at New York and Company. The classic shirtdress is a fashion must-have for your wardrobe. A classic dress in a bold and modern print is right up my alley!

Now in case, you didn't notice animal print is quite the rage for fall fashion and not just your typical leopard print. I mean all animal print from snakeskin to zebra print and I am here for all of it! Now I haven't seen any cow print out there right there not sure this is a trend I would follow..LOL

The amazing thing about this dress is that it honestly can be styled so many different ways. I can see myself wearing this as a long duster with jeans or leggings or maybe with over the knee boots with the split open for a sexy date night look.

With this look, I decided to pair this with my block style heels (here)that I also purchased from New York and Company making this look suitable for the office.  Got me walking into work like! LOL

What a perfect way to get in that fall swing but with a fabulous maxi dress. You can also check out some of the other dresses I am loving right now for the fall season!

As always I want to thank you for stopping by it means so much to me! Stay tuned for more fashion finds coming soon!

Fall Fashion Targetstyle with the Fab Five Fashionista's

Hey, y'all hey! There are two things that this girl loves and one being fall fashion and the other is Target!  So when my Fashionista sisters and I agreed on our theme to be Fall Fashion from Target I was all the way in.   I mean you are talking to Pumpkin Spice queen over here so everything fall makes this girl happy and throw Target into the mix you just made my life! LOL

The moment I saw this dress(here) I was immediately drawn to this gorgeous color combo but I also love the classy sophistication of it all! This is from Target's A New Day Collection and it's one of my go-to brands in that store.
Now my first thought was I was going to style this with my burgundy booties and all will be right in my little world but then I thought that would be to easy so why not do a little pattern mixing with this look and I am happy I did.

am

So I added my leopard pumps( which by the way was my best $4 Goodwill find ever) and my Eva Mendes belt that has become a staple in my wardrobe.

That's the thing about your style it totally belongs to you so do what makes you feel amazing!

So let's check out my Fashionista friends and see what they rocking for this collab!

Reyni from Curls and High Heels is rocking a jumpsuit and she looks absolutely gorgeous with the mustard jumpsuit and leopard accessories. This look is chic and classy and fall-ready she could totally add a jacket for those cooler days that will soon be upon us.

Ayesha from Emaneecloset was one of the three ladies that selected this gorgeous animal print dress. I mean we don't call ourselves Fashionista sisters for nothing. I love the pop of rust that she brings in this dress with the hat and booties. She looks sensational in this dress.

Yolanda from Curly Petite Renee also styled this dress with sandals and I am loving she exudes such confidence and class. I would easily say that Yolanda is the Queen of accessories she really knows how to give her look just the pop it needs.

Lydia from Chic to Street Style Mom is looking fabulous in this lovely dress as well. Lydia opted for a classic black bootie and bag. This dress looks so amazing with her blond hair and her makeup is perfectly done that compliments the dress.

I love how each one of these ladies made this dress their own and did it fabulously!

You can shop my dress below which also comes in cream and some of my other Target faves!

Well, it's been another great collaboration with these lovely ladies who all live in different parts of the country that connected on Instagram and now we call each other sisters!

Until next time!

Zebra Style

Greetings my fabulous friends!

I was so excited to style these fabulous separates from one of my favorite stores New York and Company from the Gabrielle Union line.  I just love this line it's fashion-forward with some added sexiness and I love the fact that that I always see Gabby rocking her pieces in real life!

The great thing about separates you have the freedom to mix and match and come up with so many different looks. I have narrowed this post down to three looks but honestly, there are so many options.

When I spotted this white and black animal print I was definitely interested and when I tried it on the quality blew me away.  This sweater material is very luxurious that I definitely can see myself wearing this for years to come.

I love adding pops of color when I wear classic black and white it just creates more interest to the look.

                                                Pant /here, Sweater /here  Shoes   / here

Second Look

This cardigan sweater just really speaks for its self and can stand alone that is definitely what I call a statement piece. I opted for a simple dress with this look and love the chic vibes this look is giving me.

I wanted to take it up a notch and add my color-block booties and this clear and black bag which I think gives it more of an edge. I love taking chances with fashion and keeping it fun and for me, the Gabrielle line keeps me feeling adventurous.

I would totally rock this at the office maybe minus the booties and insert pumps into this look.. LOL

                                                             Third Look

I thought let's get a little more comfortable and casually cute. I am styling this with this two-piece jogger sweater set also from the Gabrielle Union line.

I am totally obsessed with this jogger set not only is it comfortable but so cuuute! I  will definitely rock this with gym shoes, booties I mean the styling possibilities are endless.

Well, there you have 3 looks with these amazing separates from the Gabrielle Union line(here). You can check out rest of her line here and some of my other favorites below!

Thank you so much for stopping by it means so much until next time!

New Arrivals - Eva Mendes Anniversary Collection

Hello, my lovelies!  I always get excited when I see new arrivals at my favorite stores.  As many of you know I love me some New York and Company so when Eva Mendes released her 6-year Anniversary collection (here) the anticipation was real.  So I thought it would be fun to highlight some of my very some of my favorites.

Dress / (here)

I have been a fan of the Eva Collection when it came on the scene six years ago. I love the classic vibes it gives me but also gives me all of the current trends.  For example, this classic wrap dress also takes on a modern appeal with the snakeskin print along with the pattern mixing.

Dress /(here), Shoes /(Shoes)

I just love the rich jewel tones the new release of the Eva collection features. The purples, greens and some pink. It a great twist on the typical autumn colors. I love that she has brought back some throwback pieces giving the new life like the Freya Dress (here) in a gorgeous hot pink color but also classic black

Another one of my favorites is this lace vintage style lovely gown which to me is so Eva.  It has a vintage and feminine look so stunning (here)

We all need a statement jacket in our life and a little piece of sunshine(here) it a real attention-getter and one that can be taken into the spring weather. See I'm thinking ahead for you my fashionista friends.

You also check out some of my other favorites below.  Are you a fan of the Eva Mendes line? Which are your favorite pieces?
