Christmas Comes Early with Tracee Ellis Ross

Let me tell you as soon as I found out that the Tracee Ellis Ross collection was coming to Jcpenny's I have been like a kid waiting on Christmas morning. She has really been hair and fashion inspiration for me since the days of " Girlfriends".  She was a huge reason part that I started to embrace my natural curls after years of beating them into submission.  She is not only outwardly beautiful she seems to have this sparkling personality and this line really reflects that. 

So let me tell you that I was at JCPenney when they opened on Sunday wanting to get first dibs on my favorites and I wasn't the only one there were many other ladies that had been playing the same waiting game that I have. 

Even my Mama got in on the action with the PJ set (here)! Perfect gift for someone special like me ...Mom! (hint hint)

I gave myself a limit before I set foot in the store that I would only purchase two items and it was a little difficult for this greedy girl but I was able to narrow it down.  The first item that I wanted to try on was the pink sequin number but sadly it was not at my local store and sold out online.  Well apparently everyone else fell in love this gorgeous dress.

 I instantly fell in love the Kindness dress (here) with the bold geometric pattern that works well with my pear shape!   I love that her line comes in plus size also she truly wants a line for Every body.  It also come in classic black and white stripe. 

               I just love this color pallet  that goes well with many items already in my closet 

I knew when I first laid eyes on this dress that I would be rocking it with this gorgeous cobalt blue trench coat (here)that I am absolutely in love with.

I like that I can choose which color I would like to accent so it gives this girl options. I love options, don't you? 

Or why not add a pop of pink with some fabulous pink pumps just to change it up. Like I said I love options :)
