Thinking Spring

Spring the season is the season when things start to come alive and the colors seem to bloom outside as well as in your wardrobe.  It is the time when you feel brand new, full of promise and open to new opportunities. 

There are two things that I love about this particular outfit. The color combo is just amazing. it gives me easter egg vibes LOL.  Also, the fact that it's 2 separates which opens up the styling possibilities. You know I am all about more looks for less philosophy 

The great thing is that I already had this belt and shoes in my current wardrobe and it really brought this look together. I seriously have like 3 of these belts(here) in different colors and it really is one of my favorites accessories.

The quality of this set is amazing and forgiving on this girl who has gained some poundage but your girl is working on trying to get it together but that is a discussion that we will have very soon.

 How about you my fashionista friends are you looking forward to pulling out some of those spring fashions? I know with present events sometimes it's hard to focus on things like this but for me, fashion has always been my escape.  It's a distraction for all the craziness going on in the world right now.

Rainbows in March

Hello, my lovelies!  It's been such a long time and I have missed you all!  Sometimes it's important to unplug and take some time out for self-care and that is really where I have been. With the weather getting warmer in Indiana I find myself more motivated and ready to dive back into what I love the most!  

There is something about when you see that first day of warm weather it just seems to get you thinking spring and looking for all things color after the gray dreariness of the winter weather. 

When I spotted this duster I knew that it would be sure to take all those winter blues away and it would definitely be a statement piece that I would wear over and over again.  It would look great with black slacks, over a dress or even as a dress that is how versatile it is.

I thought immediately the bright and fun sweater would look amazing with jeans and a bold pump (here)would be an eye-catching combination. I decided to go with my fringe bottom jeans from Slimsation (similar option ) (here) 

Sometimes people underestimate the power of fashion or how it reflects your current mood and attitude.  Why not create a positive narrative and create a feeling of happiness and positive vibes with vibrant color! It's time to put all those winter blues away.
