Well it's that time of the month again where I get to collaborate with my fellow Fashionista's the "Fab 40's " a group of International bloggers that are pretty amazing. Every month we take turns selecting a theme and we each create our own interpretation of that that looks like.
This month the theme was " Pop Art " chosen by the lovely Samantha. Now I will have to admit when I first heard the theme I was like .. What the what? I felt like it was totally out of my comfort zone but that is really what makes it so interesting. So I started getting my creative juices flowing and this is what I came up with.
I felt like this jacket was perfect for the " POP ART " theme it had fun quirky vibe that I was looking for and added the fabulous neon pumps that I picked last year just made it POP !
The funny thing about this little purse was that I picked it up randomly when I was at one of my trips to Target. I saw it on clearance in the little girls section for $3 and I thought I can do something with this and it ended up working out perfectly .
The red gingham style brought some fun to this look and kept still kept the look feminine which is more my style.
Now let's see the other " Fab 40's " take on this fun theme.
Samantha from The Fake Fabulous came up with the Pop Art theme and let me say she went all the way in on this look. I love how she incorporated the theme down to her bright yellow socks and the fun button down. She is the queen of layers and she didn't now disappoint this month . What a fun theme and kudo's to you for getting me out of my comfort zone!
Lisa from The Sequinist is our guest blogger for this month and let me just say I love love love her take on this theme. I am such a dress and skirt girl and this skirt is just everything and love how she added the the sexy shoe to the mix all while staying in theme. Love it girl!
Sheela from Sheela Writes always brings on the fabulous shoe game and she does not disappoint this month . I am totally in love with this Pop Art perfection look. She always amazes me with her interpretation of the theme so street chic girl!
Jennie from A Pocketful of Polka Dots had me at Hello with this look such a gorgeous skirt and than adding bright hues and supercute bag just seals the deal with this amazing look. I am totally obsessed with this look Jennie!!
Anne from Kremb De La Kremb is so the girl I want to be . She is just amazing when it comes to DIY 's and this girl is just not that crafty. I love the the fabulous skirt just right up my alley and the amazing patch shirt that she made herself she really kicked this one right out the park!
Diane from Fashion on the 4th Floor makes everything look so effortless and amazing! Love love the sweatshirt style dress and than being so creative added the design on the sweatshirt soo cute and love the matching sneakers. You go my fellow Curly girl! Love it
And so there you have it another amazing month with these fabulous ladies and what a fun one it was.I love how much each one of these ladies inspire me each and every month and allows me to be more creative and try new things .
As always I want to thank you for stopping by it means so much to me !

Wasn't this a fun month? My initial reaction to this month's theme was just like yours. Mary.
ReplyDeleteOh, I am so glad to see your entire look here! Your bright top and skirt are perfect with the polka dots and fab duster coat. So fun that we are both wearing bright yellow pumps this time around, too. :)
Yes Jennie we are twinning with those shoes and I so loved your look ❤💛
DeleteMary, I have to admit that I thought you would be so far out of your comfort zone that you would be struggling with this one BUT by golly Miss Molly, you smashed it!!!
ReplyDeleteI love how you look like you have had fun making this outfit happen.
